Triangle Borea BR08 Speakers (Pair) are 3-way floor-standing speakers; they sit in middle of the Borea floor-stander range. The BR08s are perfect for larger sized rooms and deliver high-fidelity audio with power and precision. Why the BR08 Speakers? The BR08 floor-standing speakers work in a 3-way configuration to diffuse all frequencies with no interference between the four transducers, this allows for each driver to precisely deliver audio with accuracy and detail. The Borea BR08 floor-standers are designed for rooms ranging from 20 to 40m2. EFS Tweeter Driver The Boreo BR08s are equipped with a 25mm silk dome tweeter with next generation Efficient Flow System technology. EFS technology is developed to deliver wide dispersion of the high frequencies so that an even sound is spread across the room. Midrange Driver The midrange 16cm driver incorporates a natural cellulose paper membrane that avoids coloration of the intermediate frequencies and delivers realistic vocals, without degrading the quality of the low-end. Unlike the BR07, a small pleat peripheral short-travel suspension is included, to allow a perfect control of the movement of the moving elements, to result in a more realistic-sounding vocal. 2x 16 Bass Drivers The Borea BR08 has two motorised 16cm fibreglass drivers, unlike the BR07, and delivers the bass frequencies with much more power and accuracy. DVAS System The cabinet structure is made of perorated internal panels in MDF and filled with high-density EVA foam to reduce internal vibrations and make the transducer/cabinet combination more rigid and secure. This design is able better absorb impacts so that the low frequencies are more precise and without distortion. Decoupling System The Borea BR08 has a pedestal to provide greater stability and to prevent resonance.
